Crestmont Property Management, Inc., doing business as Crestmont Realty, is a California corporation and licensed real estate broker (CA DRE #01525201) providing residential property management and licensed real estate brokerage services in California. We serve property owners, prospective and current tenants, real estate agents, vendors, and other business partners.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Contact details such as name, email address, mailing address, and phone number
  • Information submitted through website forms, including inquiry, rental application, owner interest, and referral forms
  • Property information, including address, unit details, and ownership or tenancy status
  • Real estate license information, where you identify yourself as a licensed agent or broker
  • Financial and identity information required to evaluate a rental application or administer a management agreement, which may include income documentation, employment history, rental history, government identification, and Social Security number
  • Correspondence you send to us, including email, text messages, voicemail, and maintenance requests

4. Text Messaging and Mobile Information

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

If you provide your mobile number and consent to receive text messages, we send messages related to your inquiry, application, tenancy, property, maintenance request, transaction, or referral. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.

We may share mobile numbers with service providers, such as messaging platforms and telecommunications carriers, solely to deliver messages on our behalf.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as described below. We do not sell personal information.

  • Property owners and tenants. As necessary to administer a management agreement, lease, or tenancy
  • Service providers. Including tenant screening companies, property management and accounting software providers, payment processors, communications and messaging platforms, hosting and analytics providers, and marketing platforms
  • Vendors and contractors. As necessary to perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, or turnover work
  • Real estate professionals and referral partners. Where you have been referred to us or request a referral, and where necessary to complete a transaction
  • Listing syndication platforms. Property and listing information published for marketing purposes
  • Professional advisors. Attorneys, accountants, insurers, and auditors
  • Legal and regulatory recipients. Where required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website, remember preferences, measure traffic, and understand how visitors use our site. We may use third-party analytics and advertising services that set their own cookies and collect information about your online activity over time and across sites.

Crestmont complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair housing laws. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, ancestry, familial status, source of income, disability, genetic information, veteran or military status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal, tax, licensing, and recordkeeping obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the applicable legal requirement. California real estate law requires retention of certain transaction records for a minimum period following the close of a transaction.

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
